Liars Liars, Pants on Fire!

Soccer fans around the world complained about the high intense volume of these vuvuzela horns at the World Cup, so much they photoshopped their true feelings just in case there were any doubts...

How You Know You Have Dreaded Teabagger Disease

*** Check out the symptoms of Teabagger Disease and the cure.

The ultimate Bozo Sapien...

Drew Sheneman

From Denny: You Know You Have The Teabagger Disease When...

You didn't get mad when the Supreme Court stopped a legal recount and appointed a President that can't stay sober and you were completely oblivious it was unconstitutional and those Justices should have been impeached. Even the American Bar Association called down the Supreme Court on their bad law and political corruption. Scalia and Thomas both had children working in the Bush-Cheney election campaign over which they were deciding. Talk about unethical when they should have removed themselves from that decision and ordered a recount or reelection.

You didn't get mad when VP Cheney met secretly with energy lobbyists who wrote the legislation and allowed energy company officials to dictate energy policy which, oh, by the way, was totally illegal.

You didn't get mad when an American President outed his own covert CIA operative, 300 people died as a result and an entire network of good intelligence about rogue nukes in the world was destroyed because of the irresponsible publicity. By the way, Bush and Cheney are guilty of treason, according to the law.

You didn't get mad when the Patriot Act got passed because you were too stupid to understand how it would affect you.

You didn't get mad when we illegally invaded a country that posed no
threat to us because you were greedy for their oil resources and wanted to make money for Big Business that the American taxpayers end up footing the bill to do. By, hey, President Bush promised that the Iraq oil fields would reimburse the American taxpayers. Nine years later no such refund has occurred and Iraq and Afghanistan continue to be American satellite countries costing $9 billion and more a month, breaking our economy.

You didn't get mad when we spent over $600 billion (and counting for nine years now) on an illegal war - to the tune of $9 billion a month. Teabaggers are supposed to be deficit hawks yet relish spending insane money for foreign wars yet nothing at home for public school education and textbooks for their own children.

You didn't get mad when over $10 billion just disappeared in Iraq for bribe money, political corruption, buying stocks for Cheney and Libby to stuff in their greedy back pockets. It was just plan stealing from the American taxpayers.

You didn't get mad when you saw the Abu Grahib prisoner torture photos because you thought it was fine to torture "the enemy" completely forgetting that now the enemy will torture our captured soldiers.

You didn't get mad when the national debt doubled under President Bush from $5.674 trillion to $10.024 trillion and you don't believe Bush's deficit is tied to today's economic meltdown and high unemployment.

You didn't get mad when the government was illegally wire-tapping Americans under the Patriot Act and President Bush lied about it because you trust the lies of Bush.

You didn't get mad when we didn't catch Bin Laden in Tora Bora when we had him in our sights.

You didn't get mad when you saw the horrible conditions at Walter Reed Hospital for our veterans returning from the Iraq and Afghan Wars. So much for troop support. It's OK to support them when they are healthy but not when they really need us to do right by them, that's your motto.

You didn't get mad when we let a major USA city, New Orleans, drown during Hurricane Katrina in 2005 - while President Bush, Cheney and Rove were busy spending three days discussing political strategy to blame the hurricane on the Democrats and refusing to take calls from the desperate Louisiana Gov. Blanco whose citizens were dying by the hundreds at the Super Dome. After all, you figured that Blanco was a Democrat - and who wants to help a fellow American who is a Democrat? - and all those poor black people weren't voters anyway so what did it really matter.

You didn't get mad when the deficit hit the trillion dollar mark because it was OK that Republican Presidents Reagen, Bush 41 and Bush 43 spent it on Space Wars technology, supplying guerrilla insurgencies and wars that were never won.

You finally got mad when the government decided that people in America deserved the right to see a doctor if they are sick.

Hmmmm.... Illegal wars, misdirection, lies, corruption, torture, stealing your tax dollars to make the rich richer, are all OK with you, but helping other Americans... well, that makes you mad.

You definitely suffer from Dreaded Teabagger's Disease. What a sorry excuse you are for a human being. Push the "Reincarnation Button" and then "Do Over" because you definitely need another turn at the Wheel of Life to get it right. Good luck on your next try.

Funny Comic Betty White Gets Her Own Calendar

*** Check out what comic Betty White is doing now! The woman is on the move!

From Denny: Actress Betty White has been in show business for longer than most of us have been alive yet she continues to amaze everyone who sees her. She is advancing to age 89 this year but somehow she just doesn't age. A great sense of humor and her dazzling smile and excellent timing with a ready rapier wit have made her popular with yet a new generation of admirers.

She thrived on Saturday Night Live where she made several appearances. White holds the record for the oldest person to host the show. Betty hosted the show after a big push from groups on facebook where she was a huge success.

Betty has yet another show in which she co-stars, called "Hot In Cleveland" which airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. Eastern and 9 p.m. Central.

Today she is totally the "It Girl" status because her latest endeavor is that she is sporting her own calendar. Rush right out and purchase one for 2011. The calendar is supposed to include some lovely beefcake-type shirtless men posing alongside her just to keep things spicy. Some of the photos are archival while others pose her with animal friends since she is quite the animal lover.

Betty White serves as a trustee for the Morris Animal Foundation and it is to this foundation that her royalties for the calendar will go. The Betty White Calendar costs $12.99 and will go on sale in September 2010. I predict a huge sell out and major re-printings! :)

Photo of coffee from Brazil by Quoquo @ flickr

From Denny: This was a light week for writing as I spent so much time watching a lot of BP oil spill news from everywhere trying to catch details of what was filtered out of the mainstream copycat media. This is a shifting situation minute by minute as BP tries to twist the truth and manipulate the media to report their lies. It's like a giant shell game from a multinational corporation grifter.

Those of us living in Louisiana and others on the Gulf Coast are committed to holding our government AND most especially BP's mean little toes to the hot coals until they comply fully. The philosophy of "The Minimum Acceptable" from Big Business arrogance and cavalier handling of an environmental and economic disaster is unacceptable in America. If this was happening to the British shores I would be just as outraged and pushing back just as hard.
