Celebrity: See Comic Joan Rivers At Home
Image via Wikipedia
From Denny: Comic Joan Rivers shares a typical Sunday morning at her house. Apparently, her New York City apartment is perpetually for sale at $25 million asking price. :) She is delightful as she shows around The Today Show crew, taking them into her show clothes closet. Joan is known for her funny famous quote: "Can we talk?" Take a look:

Kate Middleton And Camilla Do Lunch: Publicly
Kate Middleton Image by Niquinho via Flickr
From Denny: Talk about a staged event. Only the British. They love to eavesdrop so Kate and Camilla gave them what they wanted so badly. They lunched publicly in a posh hotel, knowing they would be overheard.
This is all quite amusing. When one diner happily reported they overheard part of the conversation it was quoted as this: Camilla, "If I could give you one piece of advice." And Kate quipped, "What do I do if William does not show up?"
Of course, this two-some started all the Queen Talk all over again. After Princess Diana was killed, the Brits were not too keen on Camilla becoming Queen one day. Apparently, that mood has softened over the years since her marriage into the royal family. Just goes to show you that time - and a whole lot of growing up and adjusting to public expectations - can tilt in your favor.
Any way you look at this incident, these two have a cheeky sense of humor.

Dogs Are People Too: Meet 6 New Breeds
Image via Wikipedia
From Denny: Right about now my husband is thrilled I'm not taking time away from his sports to watch parts of a dog show to catch some of the new breeds. This clip sure makes short work of sifting through a long show to get a look at them. Remember: dogs are people too! :)
Meet the six new breeds in the Westminster Dog Show:
Boykin Spaniel - Sporting Group, developed for hunting, official state dog of South Carolina. They are water retrieval dogs for water fowl that are supposed to be small enough to work out of a boat and not rock the boat. They are assertive and enthusiastic.
Blue Tick Coon Hound - athletic, compact, determined, steady tracker and speedy. They hunt cougar and bear by treeing them and also hunt raccoon.
Redbone Coon Hound - pleading expression, confident air, courageous, raccoon hunting. They are known for being a versatile hunting dog and a natural tracking ability.
Cane Corso - an Italian mastiff of the Working Breed that is confident, intelligent and easily trained. Make a great body guard as they are a serious dog.
Leonberger - a huge dog that is known for being calm, graceful and a great family dog. Originally from Leonberg, Germany of the Working Breed, used as a farm or draft dog.
Icelandic Sheepdog - welcomes visitors without aggression and are known for being cheerful, friendly and inquisitive. They herd sheep and are sent out to find lost sheep and retrieve them on their own.

Dennys Funny Quotes: Funny Mardi Gras Quotes, Who Dat Rocking Saints Songs
Dennys Funny Quotes: Funny Mardi Gras Quotes, Who Dat Rocking Saints Songs - Congrats go to the Packers who won this year's Super Bowl! Let the partying begin!
Here is last year's winner, the New Orleans Saints. What a huge surprise it was to win the Super Bowl, the first for this beaten down team. Get a grin at the partying in the French Quarter and the different rock songs for the team.
The Packers have their Cheesehead song and the Saints have their Who Dat?! song. For my second language friends: Who Dat = Who is that?
Right after Hurricane Katrina, all in a half a million strong flurry, half of New Orleans moved to my town of Baton Rouge, the state's capital, overwhelming us and our resources. We soon adjusted after a few months and assimilated everyone. They still can't drive. :)
All we heard in the grocery stores and the shopping malls was the "Who dat?" phrase. We soon started calling New Orleans people The Who Dats and the name stuck with New Orleans wearing it like a badge of pride. :) Winning the Super Bowl was just what New Orleans needed to make them feel really good. There is still a lot of celebrating going on - but then that's the New Orleans Who Dat Nation!
