Kate Middleton Image by Niquinho via FlickrFrom Denny: Talk about a staged event. Only the British. They love to eavesdrop so Kate and Camilla gave them what they wanted so badly. They lunched publicly in a posh hotel, knowing they would be overheard.
This is all quite amusing. When one diner happily reported they overheard part of the conversation it was quoted as this: Camilla, "If I could give you one piece of advice." And Kate quipped, "What do I do if William does not show up?"
Of course, this two-some started all the Queen Talk all over again. After Princess Diana was killed, the Brits were not too keen on Camilla becoming Queen one day. Apparently, that mood has softened over the years since her marriage into the royal family. Just goes to show you that time - and a whole lot of growing up and adjusting to public expectations - can tilt in your favor.
Any way you look at this incident, these two have a cheeky sense of humor.
