A Truth Journal: FYI, Spring Fever At Our House! 6 Funny Links Too

Waterfall in Japanese Garden

A Truth Journal: FYI, Spring Fever At Our House! 6 Funny Links Too: From Denny:  Yeah, been enjoying Spring time here in Louisiana, along with the huge hanks of oak tree pollen falling at my feet.  The weather has been almost like Hawaii lately: soft warm breezes.  Soooo, have not been posting as much lately.  Too busy being downright happily sloth like and getting Pollen Head at the same time.  I'm sure you all understand. :)  My heart goes out to all of you still stuck in snow weather and Snowquester.  Should be posting tonight, if not tomorrow.  Talk about Lazy Bones here...   Throwing kisses out to you all - and thanks so much for your support on this and all my other crazy blogs!

Dennys Funny Quotes: Scotland Govt Shut Down Child Food Critic of School Lunches But She Rebounds Anew

Dennys Funny Quotes: Scotland Govt Shut Down Child Food Critic of School Lunches But She Rebounds Anew: From Denny:  A couple of months ago this happened:  Can you believe this crazy stunt?  A precocious nine-year-old, Martha Payne, decides she is fed up with the poor standard of school lunches so she starts photographing them.  Then she put them up on her blog, Never Seconds.

She is quite the observant food critic too.  She spots ugly things like hair in her food.  Oddly enough, she actually liked this garbage on a plate in this photo.  Kids do love mac 'n' cheese and jello, and, to her, these were infrequent treats.

On Martha's blog school kids from other countries sent her photos of their school lunches.  They certainly don't look as bare as this plate.  Apparently, Scottish kids actually like - and will eat radishes - not so here in America.  Radishes are great for your sinuses and good for staving off colds.  Since she lives in a cold climate it's good she enjoys them.

This plucky little girl hails from a Scottish coastal town called Lochgilphead which is about 130 miles west of  Edinburgh.  She caused quite a stir in her area by revealing the awful food truth.

Computer Crashed This Week, Back Up Soon

From Denny: It had to happen sooner or later, right? The Dell Dimension was lingering like a slow tortoise crossing the road and stopping traffic. It just turned five years old.

After a few days of trying to fix it on my own I finally admitted defeat and took it into Office Depot. When I got the high quote I knew the Universe was advising me it was time to purchase a new one for practically the same price. It was just a couple of weeks ago I was in there, cruising the tech aisles, drooling over the terrabyte goodies while my husband grinned and shook his head.

So, yesterday, my husband looked at me and looked at the old guy Dell and said it was time to meet the new BFF guy on the block: HP. Happy Birthday to me a few weeks early. My husband turned to me today and said, "Someone's in a better mood - and so much happier. Welcome back to the plugged in human race." :)

Oh, and for the Fourth weekend Office Depot has lots of great sales on computers and other happy tech goodies.  If you are like me, finally having to part with an old friend, take a look around.  Who knows?  You just might meet the new love of your life!

The Social Poets: Stealing Your Blog Content: Duplicate Content Farm MadHealth.net

Stop Sign

The Social Poets: Stealing Your Blog Content: Duplicate Content Farm MadHealth.net: "From Denny: Do you know who is stealing your blog or site content of original articles and posts, even poetry?  Check out a serial violator of duplicate content on the internet.  He may be stealing from your blog or site.  How does it affect you on the internet when your copyright is violated?

The site known as Health News Gate, located at http://www.madhealth.net, is a duplicate content farm, stealing from all over the internet. He is based out of the Ukraine and ignores all contact letters of cease and desist.

MadHealth.net steals from all over the internet in areas of health, news, politics, sports, music, poetry, spiritual, you name it.  Just a duplicate content farm that Google has yet to put out of their search engine."

MyBlogLog readers and other similar sites

From Denny: To everyone checking out this site from MyBlogLog and any other site configured in a similar fashion... This blog was originally set up just for me to view at a glance to see if the blogs were publishing on time.

Then a brilliant thought! Maybe other people who think like I do and don't want to waste time toggling everywhere would enjoy looking at a glance too. You can pick and choose which posts to click on.

The down side is that only posts are carried in a reader. So, if you are viewing this post from MyBlogLog then to view all the headlines of posts at a glance you will need to click on the address and actually come to the blog.

Good news! The blog loads quickly! There are short descriptions of the blogs, headlines of several posts, and photos depicting each blog to give you a flavor of the place.

If you are a blogger, then this might be an idea for you to use to help promote your other blogs. Thanks for the visit!
