A Truth Journal: Brian Williams Returns to the MSNBC Newsroom: Welcome Back!: From Denny:  Turns out that friend and boss, Andrew Lauk, over at NBC believes in second chances for good people like Brian Williams.  Well, so do I.  It's past due time for Brian Williams to come out of the cold and be welcomed back into society.  He's paid his dues, suffered embarrassment and financial and status demotion.  How much more do the Boo Birds and Jealous Journalists want?  Those odious crowds would want blood if the network was stupid enough to give it to them.

Congrats on your comeback, Brian.  Ignore the jealous petty journalists in the newsroom.  The news industry is filled to overflowing with jealous petty people, just take a glance over at The New York Times, CNN and Fox newsrooms for starters.  No surprise they exist at NBC and MSNBC.  Two words to all of them:  grow up!  And, while I'm at it dishing out advice to toxic people:  be careful the meanness you visit upon others does not come back to visit your life because it surely will...

From Denny:  While Al-Qaeda whines about how other terrorist groups [in addition to them] are fighting each other in Syria and behaving badly, the Colbert Bump is in full swing back here in America.

Oh, come on, Sec. of State Kerry and President Obama, just sit back and wait for all those terrorists coalescing in Syria to thrash it out until there are fewer groups.  Then you send in the drones.  Let these guys do your work for you.

Look at it this way:  Stupid is as stupid does.  Terrorist groups continue to mass in Syria.  Well, we sure know where to find them.  It will be like shooting fish in a barrel.  At least the IC should be tagging and identifying these now easy to find terrorists.

Meanwhile, rather than write yet another political post and yell at the TV news tonight, our house switched over to Colbert Report and found this awesome indie music group.  These folks will definitely benefit from the Colbert Bump.  But, you know what, they have game - and lots of it.

At the end of the video enters the family's little baby, sitting in the hallway, having fun stuffing the machine with a ball.  Then the dog brings another ball to place in the machine.  He politely waits for the baby first.  When the dog starts running to catch the ball down the hall the baby starts laughing.  Definitely in the Too Cute category.

From Denny: Today's my birthday so I thought I'd mellow out and lay back on the early AM posting. Found this over at Jokes.net, enjoy!

Cat Goes to Heaven

One day a cat dies of natural causes and goes to heaven. There he meets the Lord Himself. The Lord says to the cat, "You lived a good life and if there is any way I can make your stay in Heaven more comfortable, please let Me know." The cat thinks for a moment and says, "Lord, all my life I have lived with a poor family and had to sleep on a hard wooden floor." The Lord stops the cat and says, "Say no more," and a wonderful fluffy pillow appears.

A few days later, six mice are killed in a tragic farming accident and go to heaven. Again, there is the Lord there to great them with the same offer. The mice answer, "All of our lives we have been chased. We have had to run from cats, dogs and even women with brooms. Running, running, running; we're tired of running. Do you think we could have roller skates so we don't have to run anymore?" The Lord says, "Say no more," and fits each mouse with beautiful new roller skates.

About a week later the Lord stops by to see the cat and finds him snoozing on the pillow. The Lord gently wakes the cat and asks him, "How are things since you got here?"

The cat stretches and yawns and replies, "It is wonderful here. Better than I could have ever expected. And those 'Meals On Wheels' you've been sending by are the best!"
